NAIROBI – A historic milestone in Kenya’s infrastructure development is set to take place as His Excellency Hon. Dr. William Samoei Ruto, PhD., C.G.H. , President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces, officially launches the construction of the Naivasha–Kisumu–Malaba Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) .
This transformative project will extend the SGR network from Naivasha to Kisumu and onward to Malaba, connecting Kenya’s interior to the Lake Victoria region and the border with Uganda, unlocking massive economic potential for East Africa.
