The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has announced a major digital transformation in motor vehicle registration services with the introduction of the Electronic Motor Vehicle Registration Certificate (eLogbook) .
This transition marks a significant milestone in the Authority’s commitment to providing efficient, paperless, and citizen-centered services.
What is the eLogbook?
The eLogbook is a secure, convenient digital version of the traditional paper-based Certificate of Registration (commonly known as the logbook). It will be fully integrated into all motor vehicle registration processes, including:

✅ Transfer of ownership
✅ Change of particulars
✅ Inspection-related transactions
✅ Other related motor vehicle services
Vehicle owners will be able to access, view, download, and verify their digital logbooks through the eCitizen platform at their convenience.

The Authority will implement the eLogbook across the specified services and Go Live from:

Upon completion of transactions, all motor vehicle owners and clients will be required to access, view, or download their eLogbooks from their respective eCitizen accounts.
