Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital (JOOTRH) is hosting a specialized Operation Ear Drops Surgical Camp from October 27th to 31st, 2025, offering life-changing treatment for patients with ear and hearing conditions.
This dedicated camp addresses various issues including:
Hearing Impairment
Discharging ears (blood or pus)
Other ear and hearing-related problems
Screening Requirements:
Screening is COMPULSORY and ongoing now! To qualify for surgery during the camp period, patients must complete screening first.
Screening Locations & Schedule:
Daily: Designated ENT Area (Filter Clinic)
Tuesdays & Thursdays: Consultant’s Clinic
(Screening continues until October 24th)

The camp features surgeons from the Netherlands, top Kenyan ENT specialists, and ENT surgeons in training from the University of Nairobi. JOOTRH remains the only fully functional public hospital in the Lake Region Economic Bloc offering comprehensive ENT, Head, and Neck surgical services.

The camp is fully covered by SHA (compulsory for participation).
