A Strategic Partnership Takes Shape
The Directorate recently welcomed Mr. Steve, CEO of Marwa Tours & Travel, who paid a courtesy call to the CECM for Trade, Tourism, Industry, Cooperatives and Marketing, Hon. Farida Salim, accompanied by Ms. Angeles Cobreros from Spain.
Angeles is more than a visitor to Kisumu. She has become a passionate ambassador for the destination, actively promoting Kisumu to the Spanish market and creating opportunities for visitors from Spain to discover the beauty, culture, people, and authentic lifestyle around Lake Victoria.
Beyond Kisumu – A Wider Kenyan Experience
Her tourism experiences do not end in Kisumu. Visitors are also connected to some of Kenya’s iconic destinations, including the Maasai Mara and the Coast, creating a wider Kenyan tourism experience while placing Kisumu firmly within the journey.
