This is the first comprehensive fee review in 18 years, and the changes are significant. The revised structure aims to strengthen wildlife conservation, enhance visitor experiences, and ensure Kenya’s parks remain globally competitive.

Note: Reduced fees apply for children and students. Special packages are available for multiple parks.
Good News for Early Birds
If you had already booked and paid for your safari via the eCitizen platform before the announcement on September 29th, 2025, KWS has honoured those payments. The new fees apply only to bookings made for entry on or after October 1st, 2025.
More Than Just Entry: Other Important Fees
The new regulations also cover a wide range of activities and services, which are now more clearly defined:

Vehicle Charges: Ranging from KSh 600/day for vehicles under 6 seats to KSh 5,000/day for large buses.

Special Activities: Popular experiences like night game drives (KSh 3,000), guided walking safaris (KSh 3,000), and lake boating (KSh 1,500 per hour) now have set rates for East African Citizens and Residents.

Camping Fees: Fees for both public and private campsites have been updated, varying by park.
